About One Twenty Nine Films’ Founder

Blockbuster movies, Super Bowl premiering commercials, Independent films and documentaries…One Twenty Nine Films founder, Nick Seuser, has been fortunate to collaborate on seminal projects throughout his career, alongside some of the most talented people in the industry.

And that early career is what inspired him to open 129 Films in 2008 with the desire to attract talented people by establishing a culture of friendly, transparent and creative collaboration, to ultimately produce great work.

Prior to establishing One Twenty Nine Films, Nick honed his craft as a film editor both at Industrial Light + Magic in Marin County, and as a freelancer in LA, cutting national broadcast spots for iconic brands such as Budweiser, Gatorade, Post Cereals and many others. (At ILM, Nick once opened a door for Clint Eastwood while he was completing VFX for his film, “Space Cowboys.” Mr. Eastwood is very tall.)

Nick then moved to Warner Bros. where he collaborated on feature films, “The Matrix Reloaded,” “The Matrix Revolutions,” “Constantine,” and “Catwoman.” (Yes, “Catwoman” isn’t a misprint. And Keanu is as cool as they come.)

Upon founding One Twenty Nine Films, Nick began his career as a Director and Executive Producer for clients as diverse as Samsung, GQ, McDonalds, Toyota, Facebook, Intel, Sprint and many others.
